Our status on Whatsapp will soon be the means of earning the company. According to the Wall Street Journal report, WhitesAP will show ads in the status of its users, starting with next year i.e. 2019. According to the information, the advertisement will be in the form of a video and it will do exactly the same thing as the Instagram Stories. Facebook started advertising in Instagram Stories in June this year.
The report says that WhatsApp has around 1.5 billion users worldwide, out of which 45 million users use WhatsApp status. Speaking of Instagram, only 40 million users use it daily.
While confirming this, Matt Edima, the Chief Operating Officer of WhatSap, said that the advertisement coming on WhatsApp will be a part of Facebook’s advertising program. Let’s say that WhatsAppSite status was launched in February last year.
Earlier, there was a news that WhatsApp’s services would have to be paid. WhatsApp said that he would start taking money to send messages related to marketing and customer services. WhatsApp has been facing decreasing use and dull revenue growth, due to which this step has been taken. WhatsApp said that there will be a fixed rate for sending messages. In different countries this charge will be in the range from 30 paise to 5.8 rupees (0.5 cents to 9 cents). Users who use WhatsApp Business have to pay this charge.
